Hi Mindi,

Yoshi is going to be 1 tomorrow. At the same time I can’t believe he’s only 1, and that he’s going to be 1. He’s a great dog and completed our family. He’s less dog, more son.

As I write this, Yoshi in his normal guard position looking out the windows, spying on the neighbors. His barking is less to be desired, but he has a voice and will use it. We did have him trained, but didn’t get trained ourselves, so there’s still some puppy behavior that we know he’ll grow out of sooner than later.

There’s not a toy that will not be destructed in less than 5 minutes, no matter how indestructible they seem. I say this with pride that he is such a gentle dog with mighty sharp teeth. He loves to play tug and be chased. The kids fight over who loves him best, and he loves them equally. He’s patient with hair pulls, accidental kicking, and hard hugs. Yoshi kisses freely snuggles with the best of them until he’s tired and then he likes to have some space.

Yoshi is exactly the dog we wanted and we love him so much. Thank you for allowing us to adopt him into our family.

Best,
Jessica
