Why an Australian Labradoodle?

While Australian Labradoodles require regular grooming, their coat is relatively low-maintenance when compared to other breeds. Their curly or wavy coat doesn’t shed as much, which means less fur around the house. However, they still require regular brushing to prevent mats and tangles, and periodic grooming appointments to keep their coat healthy.
An Australian Labradoodle’s coat is also great because it is allergy friendly. They seldom need a bath and are naturally blessed to not have that “doggie” smell and their fleece is almost resistant to dirt! If you don’t mind putting in a little effort for regular grooming, you’ll find that the Australian Labradoodle’s coat is easier to manage compared to many other breeds, and it won’t leave a lot of fur on your furniture or clothing.

What is a multi-generational Australian Labradoodle?
Multi-generational Australian Labradoodles are a cross between many different parent breeds. The breed originated in Australia in the 1980s with the intent of creating an allergy-friendly service dog for the blind. Australian Labradoodles are a combination of a Poodle, Labrador Retriever, English Cocker Spaniel, American Cocker Spaniel, and Irish Water dogs. These breeds were hand-selected for specific breed qualities to create the ideal service dog for those with allergies. Since then, the breed has continued on and spread across the world. Australian Labradoodles are now considered their own breed with its own breed clubs (ALAA and WALA).
