We are frequently asked what happens to our mama dogs when they “retire” from our breeding program. We place our girls in guardian homes while they are still young and breed back to back for their health and also so we can retire them at a young age. This week, two of our first girls celebrated birthdays. Genny Gen Gen and Penny are maturing well with no health issues. What a blessing that mamas that we loved have such great lives even after they have produced amazing puppies. We will always hold a special place in our hearts for these amazing girls!

We celebrated Penny’s 10th birthday today! She is doing good…starting to slow down a little and has gained a few pounds but otherwise is healthy!
