Macy has completed one week of training at Fieldgate Farm! She is learning the in’s and out’s of being a polite puppy! She is working on sit and down on command, waiting for personal space, sitting for attention rather than jumping up, and leave-it with high-value items! Macy is a superstar when it comes to her training she is very eager to continue learning new skills. Outdoors we have been working on coming when called with small distractions and getting used to different leash pressure.
Macy is working with our staff trainer, Kerrigan. Kerrigan is CPDT-KD certified and previously trained under Bradley Phifer, at Seven Acres. There she had the pleasure of working with many CVL puppies throughout the years. She is now on staff with us full-time training dogs in Doggy Day School, 1-on-1 Private Sessions, Board and Train, and our trained dog program. Macy is in our trained dog program. She currently is 9-weeks old and from Fern and Hamish. She will mature to be 40-45 lbs.
