This morning, my husband, Kyle, said, “Mindi, you have to remind our families on our blog and facebook about the dangers of chocolate.”
He is right. Every year, we receive a call or email from a family whose dog has consumed their child’s halloween candy bars/christmas stocking chocolate or random chocolate cookie. Every case is different depending upon the amount and type of chocolate consumed. Dark chocolate is the most deadly! Call Poison Control and they will tell you how to handle each case!
Better yet, hide it up high where they cannot find the chocolate!
