Australian Labradoodles are an allergy-friendly breed that either doesn’t shed or shed minimally. They require regular grooming for this reason. An Australian Labradoodle should be groomed every 4-6 weeks once they reach about 6 months of age. It is important to find a good groomer that you trust as your puppy will see them regularly.
If you’re new to the Australian Labradoodle world and your groomer is too you might not know what to ask for. The Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA) has a great guide on the perfect cut. Use these resources to either learn how to do the cut yourself or show them to your groomer for them to model after.
