At CVL we pride ourselves on producing healthy puppies! All of our puppies have been seen by our vet twice before they go home at 8 weeks of age. We have worked with the same vet for many years now and we have grown very close. Dr. Jason Hermann is a once in a lifetime vet. We beyond delighted to work with him as much as we do!
Most of our vet visits are conducted on our farm in Hermann Veterinary Clinic’s mobile unit. The first time your puppy is seen by Dr. Hermann he will conduct an over health and wellness exam. In this exam he will listen to your puppies heart, look at their teeth, check their joints, etc. He is on the look out for anything out of the ordinary. Once that is done he will then microchip each puppy and give them their first round of puppy vaccines. The second time Dr. Hermann sees your puppy is for their spay/neuter surgery. We have done an early spay/neuter program since the beginning and have never had an issue.
