Is that time of year again where families are headed south for Spring Break. Zionsville becomes a ghost town as families fly away south to seek warmer climates. As most hotels and resorts do not accomodate our family members with fur, I would like to make the following recommendations:
1. WiggleButts Doghouse on Zionsville Rd and 86th St area in northwestside Indy. Ben and his staff work hard to keep your dogs happy and engaged in fun activities while you are away. Our dog, Callie, loves to go and play with her friends. She comes home so tired yet wags her tail whenever you say, “Want to go play at Wigglebutts?” You will want to hurry and reserve your spots for vacations as they frequently will have no vacancies. A great sign of a great place!
2. I also recommend Dawg Dayz in Noblesville off of SR 37 for my NE side families. It is clean and state of the art.
3. Looking to keep puppy at home? Contact me for a list of college aged teens that are experienced dog owners that offer in home pet-sitting.
Still looking for someone to keep your furry friend? Consider asking your vet or vet tech for recommendations. I cannot encourage this step enough. References are key to entrusting your pet into someone’s care!
