Hi,
Today I am one year old. I weigh 28 pounds and I am 21 inches tall (my parents say they should have named me legs instead of Harley).
I am my parents first dog so I have tried to be very good. I go potty where I should, I don’t chew anything but my toys, I love people , I sleep all night in my parents room and only get up when they do. I did well in puppy one and two classes but I may have one or two things to work on, like coming when I am called (I’d rather chase that squirrel or rabbit) and I must admit that sometimes when mom and dad are gone for awhile, I might take a piece of paper out of the trash—but thats just to show I could be bad, but I’m not.
My parents say I am very smart and I agree.
Some of my favorite things are, to go into the forest with my friends Sierra and Dakota. I have also found a friend called Miles, who is my age, and we really have fun chasing each other. I also like to go out on the 12th fairway with my parents and we play with my chuckit. I love to run and chase it when my parents throw it. I play so hard that my parents make me stop and have a rest. I am not sure why, when I take five mile hikes into the forest and I am just fine. When we hike, I like to eat elk poop–it is very yummy but my parents don’t seem to like me to eat it.
I am great dog–so mom and day say, and I try to love them back. They tell me (and I do understand a lot of what they say) that I have brought a lot of joy to their lives.
So on my first birthday I have sent two pictures of myself. I must admit that the hat was not my idea.
Love, Harley
