Have you ever wondered about the parents’ of your puppy and how they are? What is their health like as they mature? One of our first foundation dogs: Genny Gen Gen, is now well into her retirement in Illinois. She lives with a family with three young children that absolutely adore her. I am so thankful that her mom stays in touch with me about Genny. Genny is in great health and loving life. I find that a number of her puppies keep certain mannerisms that are like hers (just like humans!). We have a granddaughter from Genny that lives with us as a future breeder and as our family pet. We laugh all of the time about how much she reminds us of Genny! While this photo is not the most “flattering” we laugh because it is a total Genny move. Is Genny in your dog’s pedigree? Does your dog make this same move?
Genny, you left a legacy in our breeding program. We are so proud of you and while we truly miss you every day- we pray your retirement is wonderful and that you live a long and healthy life.
We love you, Genny Gen Gen!
We love our Genny Gen! She truly is the best dog ever and we are so glad that we have been blessed to have her in our lives! Thank you for allowing us to be her dog parents!!!!! π
Our sweet Oliver is a son from her last litter…. While I’ve never met her I feel like I love her as though I’ve always known her and I owe her such huge gratitude for giving us such a blessing. Not only does Oliver physically look just like her but yes, he does that same exact move all the time… On the couch, in bed, on the floor, wherever. π you couldn’t be more right Mindi… Genny is a legacy.
