We are regularly asked this question. The Australian Labradoodle Association of America says that a standard puppy is over 55 lbs and 20″. The reality is that the medium sized puppy per the ALAA is over 25-54 lbs and over 15″ up to 20.” That is a very large spread of height and weight. We at Colonial Village Labradoodles like to add extra adjectives to describe our puppies. Labradoodles are still an emerging breed so I never like to say this is the “exact height and weight” they will be at maturity.

We currently have large medium/small standard puppies available from Lady Bird Johnson “Birdie” and Comet. These chunky little puppies should mature around 45-55 lbs and 20.” They are gorgeous! There is one curly girl and the rest have straighter fleece coats.
