After a wonderful and relaxing girls’ weekend, I returned home last night to find my very sweet husband cleaning our house. What a gift! He had helped deliver five adorable puppies from Miss Virginia and Riverbend’s Juno and managed all home activities. Puppies and mama are doing wonderful and already growing.

Well, my rested state did not last long. Annabelle is in early labor. I do not like mamas to be alone during labor so I slept on the floor next to her all night. Sleep was not found so at five am, I arose to start the day. Kyle covered morning chores of pen cleaning, puppy feeding, and rotating each mother outside to have alone time without other mamas or puppies. I completed answering the 101 emails we received over the weekend! That is crazy! I need to weed out more of our spam…

Today at 11, we have a family arriving to pick up their Abby and Keenan puppy. They have flown from Arizona to pick up their puppy! What an honor to be chosen by this family. They will give their little love bug a great home. Molly and Emma have finished bathing him and are letting him play at their feet while they homeschool.

At noon, Dr Kelly Everson, will arrive to give some puppies their shots and microchip them. We love when our vets come out for a visit. Later this afternoon, we have two families coming to visit available puppies. It is a busy time but so rewarding. When we say that we love caring for your puppy, we truly do! It is a family affair and I am thankful for each member of my family that helps to make this possible!

Now if only Annabelle would start pushing and we could see her precious babies!
