Labradoodles come in all different colors and patterns. Some litters are rainbow litters and include puppies of many different colors and patterns and some are more homogeneous. Below is a guide to all of the most common colors and patterns we see at CVL. This is meant to be a quick guide to understanding color options for labradoodles. Keep this list in mind when thinking about adding a new puppy to your family!

Parchment
Sometimes chocolate puppy coats can fade over time and gray is called a parchment coat.

Parti
Parti puppies are at least 50% white and 50% a secondary color. They are no specific pattern but typically present themselves in large spots.

Phantom
Phantom coloring is rare and unique. It means that a puppy’s coat is mostly one color but has markings in a secondary color. The secondary color can best be seen around the eyes, on the chest, under the chin, on the underside of the ears, and on the legs.

Tri-Phantom

Tri-phantom puppies have coats with three different colors, one main color, and two others. It is typically seen in chocolate puppies with cream and white accents.
